It has been one month to the day since my last cigarette!
I am really proud of myself for this and I feel a lot healthier for it!
It feels really good to be in Seattle to celebrate this!
I was a heavy smoker for a year and a month... I am so glad to be done with it.

The Fixin's.
Just took my Nishiki into Bend's WebCyclery to get chased and faced today!
And tomorrow I'm heading up to Seattle to my dad's shop Recycled Cycles for some more work on the Nishiki.
Regarding my new fix, he (or she) needs a name.
The frame is a minty/pastel green color. Any ideas?
In other news,
indoor soccer was interesting today (I take this as a class at COCC)...
First, I got a shot to the nuts in the first half and needed to be subbed out, and I never sub out...
Then I landed a goal and had two clean assists.
The last little bit to this story is I got taken out by one of my own strikers that didn't want to pass me the ball for a goal, just so he could take the shot...
We won 7-2.

Bend Art Walk 2009.
My good friend Brittany Zendejas, "Beezy," was featured in the Bend Art Walk this year!
This is her first solo show and it was at the King Of Sole downtown!
For this show she did a lot of stenciling.
Being one of her friends, she asked if she could do a piece with me on it.
Naturally I said yes! And let her take a picture and sketch it out.
It turned out phenomenal!
She was selling it for $40 when I left the show.

Life On The Outside Ain't What It Used To Be...
Working on my first conversion!
A mid 1970's Nishiki.
Right now, all I have done with it is the powder coating,
it's a "pastel" green color. Should be stunning in the sun light.
I am so excited about this.
Right now I'm riding around on my RedLine 9-2-5.
Single speed built up by my dad and the boys at Recycled Cycles.
It's brilliant for my daily ride to school and into town.
The summer months are coming, shit yes.
